Braves infield prospect Ozzie Albies went 0-for-3 and made a throwing error in his first game at Triple-A Gwinnett Saturday night.

The Columbus Clippers beat the Braves 6-2 in a game that was halted due to rain in the sixth inning in Lawrenceville.

Albies was promoted  from Double-A Mississippi earlier Saturday.

Defensively, the 19-year-old helped start two double plays and was involved in three. At the plate, two of his outs were lineouts.
Braves starter Williams Perez got the loss and fell to 0-2 in Triple-A. He allowed nine hits and six runs (four earned) while walking two and striking out five in 5 1/3 innings.
The Braves are 13-11.
