Speaking of fuzzy things, Braves catcher Brian McCann (left) and pitching coach Roger McDowell visit with rescue dog "Bro" in the dugout before taking on the Nats. "Bro" is promoting the next "Braves Bark in the Park" to be held on Sunday, August 29. She is also available for adoption through Atlanta Bully Rescue.

Back on the field, Washington's Livan Hernandez got the start for the Nationals.
