Sunday is a special day -- Mother’s Day.

It’s your chance to thank your mom for all she’s done, is doing for you and will do for you. It’s also your chance to show the mother of your child how much you appreciate her too.

And it’s an especially emotional day for those of us who have lost their mothers.

Professional athletes seem larger than life, but they have moms too.

So we invited some of Atlanta’s top players and coaches to share their thoughts about this day on video.

First up is Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman:

Then check out videos of these athletes and coaches too:

Falcons coach Dan Quinn

Falcons top draft pick Takkarist McKinley

Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson

Georgia Tech football coach Paul Johnson

Georgia Tech basketball coach Josh Pastner

Atlanta Dream guard Layshia Clarendon

Harrison Heath of Atlanta United

Atlanta United’s Julian Gressel

And mark your calendar, Father’s Day is Sunday, June 18.
