The Braves were thoroughly impressed by Mike Soroka’s first start, and they want to see him go again Sunday.

Soroka will make his SunTrust Park debut in the series finale against the Giants, manager Brian Snitker confirmed Friday.

The 20-year-old faced New York and outdueled Mets ace Noah Syndergaard in his first start. Soroka went six innings, allowing six hits and one run in a 3-2 win.

Soroka made a spot start for Anibal Sanchez, who’s on the disabled list with a hamstring injury.

The 27th overall prospect in Baseball America’s rankings, Soroka garnered a 1.99 ERA with 24 strikeouts against five walks in four starts with Triple-A Gwinnett (22-2/3 innings).
