Kris Medlen pitched six innings, allowing seven hits and three runs (two earned) but did not get a decision as the Gwinnett Braves beat the host Toledo Mud Hens 5-4 Wednesday night.

The 31-year-old Medlen had a walk and two strikeouts in his second start for the Triple-A team. He is 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA.

Jace Peterson drove in the winning run for the Braves (34-30) in the ninth inning with a two-run single. Gwinnett scored four in the ninth.

Ozzie Albies led the G-Braves attack with a 3-for-5 night, including a run, a double and an RBI. He also stole two bases, giving him an International League-leading 17.

Peterson was 1-for-5 with two RBIs, giving him five in the last two games.
