After a day off Tuesday, the Braves return to action Wednesday night for another spring TV appearance.

They will face the Tigers at Champion Stadium in Lake Buena, Vista, Fla., the Braves’ spring-training home.

Veteran right-hander Brandon McCarthy, who is competing with Mike Foltynewicz for the No. 2 spot in the Braves’ rotation, is scheduled to start. McCarthy will make his third start of the spring, his first since March 5. He has pitched 6-2/3 innings and has allowed one run on four hits. He has struck out four and walked one while compiling a 1.35 ERA.
