UPDATED: With the snow delay, today's game is now scheduled to begin at 5:10 p.m. EDT, instead of the original 4:10 p.m.

After kicking off the season with a mostly exhilarating homestand, the Braves have embarked upon their first road trip of the season, which begins Friday afternoon at Coors Field in Denver.

The Braves were 4-2 at SunTrust Park against the Phillies and Nationals, outscoring those two 48-27. Twice the Braves scored 13 or more runs. The Braves recorded 63 hits, their most in the first six games of a season in the Atlanta era, which began in 1966.

The downside to the start of the season has been the overall performance of the starting pitchers. No starter has completed six innings. The longest such streak last season was six games, from Sept. 2-7.

In the six games this season, the starters are 2-1 and have allowed 19 earned runs on 30 hits in 28 innings (4 2/3 innings per start) for a 6.11 ERA.

The Rockies lost their first two games of the season, at Arizona, then defeated the D-backs once and took four of five from the Padres. Friday’s game is the Rockies’ home opener.
