An update on key Braves prospect Dansby Swanson of Marietta, who started the season playing in Advanced A but has been promoted to the Double-A Mississippi Braves:

Thursday's game

Swanson did not play in Mississippi's 7-4 win over Biloxi Thursday night. He was hit by a pitch in the 14th inning of Wednesday game but ran the bases and played shortstop in the bottom of the inning.

Swanson's season

In Double-A: He's hitting .273 with four homers and 15 RBIs.

Overall: He's hitting .296 with five homers and 25 RBIs.
