The “Vote Freddie” push continues to make an impact as Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman was still leading the five candidates for the “Final Vote” Thursday morning to represent the National League in Tuesday’s All-Star game.

Freeman was first, followed by the Dodgers' Yasiel Puig, Giants' Hunter Pence, Nationals' Ian Desmond and Dodgers' Adrian Gonzalez in totals released at 9:45 a.m. Thursday morning by Major League Baseball. Those totals were revealed just before voting was to be open on Twitter from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. when every tweet with the hash tag #VoteFreddie would be added to the totals.

Fans can also vote at mlb.com/vote  and by texting "N2" to 89269. Results will be announced shortly after 4 p.m.
