Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman ended Reds starter Tyler Mahle’s bid for a no-hitter on Tuesday.

On the third pitch of the seventh inning, Freeman put one into the right field seats to break up the no-hitter and shutout.

Mahle was going for his third no-hitter in as many seasons, tossing a no-hitter in High-A in 2016 and a perfect game in Double-A last season.

The 23-year-old is the Reds’ No. 4 prospect, per Baseball America. He gave up a double to Nick Markakis and a homer to Kurt Suzuki after Freeman and was chased from the game.

He finished with 11 strikeouts against two walks. He left with a 5-3 lead.
