Braves center fielder Ender Inciarte was a last-minute scratch Thursday with left-groin tightness. He was slated to hit leadoff against the Tigers at Disney.

The tightness isn’t a serious concern. He’s being held out as a precaution.

“He should be good to go for the split-squad on Saturday,” Braves manager Brian Snitker said. “If it was a regular season game, no question he would’ve been out there.”

Danny Santana started for Inciarte, hitting a single, stealing a base and scoring a run in the first inning.

Inciarte is hitting .310 on the spring, with nine hits in 29 at-bats (11 games).
