How the winning run scored: Cole Figueroa's two-out triple with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning drove home all three runners and gave Durham a 7-4 lead. Each runner reached base on a walk issued by Gwinnett reliever Mark Lamm. Figueroa was the first batter to face Ryan Buchter after he relieved Lamm (3-3).

At the plate: Gwinnett's Jose Constanza (3-for-5) had his second consecutive three-hit game. Teammates Brandon Boggs, Phil Gosselin and Sean Kazmar each had two hits.

On the mound: Gwinnett starter Omar Poveda lasted six innings. He gave up four runs on five hits and four walks.

Up next for Gwinnett: The G-Braves (57-83) and the Bulls (86-53) meet at 7:05 p.m. Friday at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville for Gwinnett's final home game of the season. The probable starters are Gwinnett right-hander Kameron Loe (4-4, 3.28 ERA) against lefty Mike Montgomery (7-7, 4.60).
