Twenty major league teams will reportedly scout former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow during his tryout next week in Los Angeles.

The Atlanta Braves have confirmed they will be among the teams in attendance. Would he be a good fit for Braves?

USA Today's For the Win, has some thoughts on why Atlanta could be a perfect home for the former Heisman Trophy winner out of Florida:

Atlanta Braves: An already football-mad fanbase with minor league clubs in Georgia, North Carolina and Mississippi, and a team warmed up for the presence of a tantalizingly charming outfielder of limited proficiency thanks to Jeff Francoeur.

They didn't mention the team's history with football-players-turned-baseball-stars: Deion Sanders and Brian Jordan.

It was first reported a few weeks ago that Tebow, who hasn't played organized baseball since his junior year in high school, was pursuing a career as a baseball player. Almost immediately he received a contract offer from an Independent League team in Illinois.
