The Braves announced Thursday a tentative opening schedule for the mixed-use development adjacent to SunTrust Park, including six new additions to the dining and shopping lineup there.

Among the additions is high-end sports bar Yard House, which will open in April in a 12,000-square-foot space that will have a guest capacity of 829, including outdoor seating.

Other newcomers to the lineup for The Battery Atlanta unveiled Thursday: chef Hugh Acheson’s First & Third Hot Dog and Sausage Shack, accessible from inside SunTrust Park and from The Battery; FEED Fried Chicken & Such by chef Marc Taft; cigar lounge BURN by Rocky Patel; Haagen-Dazs ice cream shop; and Baseballism, a retail store that sells baseball-inspired apparel and accessories.

Also, the Braves said the previously announced steakhouse by chef Linton Hopkins will be named “C. Ellet’s” after his great-grandfather.

The Braves released this schedule, which they said is subject to change, for early openings in The Battery:

APRIL

• Coca-Cola Roxy Theatre

• Two Ballpark Center, a loft-style office building

• Mizuno Experience Center

• Yard House

• Terrapin Taproom featuring Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q

• Todd English Tavern and Sport & Social, both in the “Live! At The Battery Atlanta” space

• Antico Pizza

• Harley-Davidson

MAY

• C. Ellet’s

• Goldbergs Bagel Company & Deli

• Haagen-Dazs

• FEED Fried Chicken & Such

• Wahlburgers, a high-end burger concept

• Sugarboo, a gift boutique

• Dress Up, a women’s fashion boutique

• Baseballism

• PBR Bar & Grill, which will be in the “Live! At The Battery Atlanta” space

Other parts of The Battery will open later in the year and beyond.

Two of the biggest and highest-profile parts of the development – a Comcast office building and an Omni hotel– are expected to open late this year and early next year, respectively.

The three apartment communities within The Battery are slated to open to residents in April, May and July.

The Braves’ first regular-season game at SunTrust Park is on April 14 against San Diego.
