The Braves fielded a lineup including most of their regular position players for the first time this spring Monday against the Nationals.

Outfielder Ender Inciarte was slated for leadoff, with Ronald Acuna hitting fourth. The Braves are going to experiment with lineup combinations, so expect both players to get time hitting first.

With most of the roster set, the lead-off debate and fifth-starter competition will receive the bulk of attention over the next month. Lefty Max Fried, in the thick of the rotation battle, started Monday.

Third baseman Austin Riley was plugged in at designated hitter. Johan Camargo manned third and Charlie Culberson handled shortstop. Dansby Swanson, Josh Donaldson and Nick Markakis were the regulars who didn’t play.
