Second baseman Ozzie Albies had two more hits but the Gwinnett Braves lost to the host Norfolk Tides 5-4 Wednesday.

Albies was 2-for-4 with a walk and scored a run. He reached base five times in Tuesday’s game, with three hits and two walks. Albies is hitting .275.

Gwinnett (21-17) rallied from a 4-0 deficit before losing in the ninth.

Braves starter Sean Newcomb went 5 1/3 innings, allowing just three hits and one earned run. He struck out six and walked two.

Gwinnett reliever Mauricio Cabrera pitched one third of an inning, allowing two hits, a run and a walk and got the loss.
