Braves pitching prospect Lucas Sims is 0-2 since being promoted to Triple-A.
Braves pitching prospect Lucas Sims, a Lawrenceville native, gave up eight runs in four innings in his first home start for the Gwinnett Braves Tuesday night.
The Toledo Mud Hens beat the G-Braves 12-5.
Two of the eight runs scored against Sims were unearned. The Brookwood High School graduate allowed eight hits, walked none and struck out four.
He's 0-2 since being promoted to Triple-A.
Ozzie Albies had an RBI on a groundout for Gwinnett, which is 13-14.
