Braves, Pierzynski agree to 1-year deal

Catcher A.J. Pierzynski agreed to terms Wednesday on a one-year, $3 million contract with the Braves.
The contract will be finalized once he passes a physical.
Pierzynski, who’ll turn 39 in December, hit .300 with nine homers and 49 RBIs in 436 plate appearances and 113 games, including 104 starts at catcher.
