Braves second base prospect Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs, an RBI, and his league-leading eighth stolen base Wednesday as the Triple-A Gwinnett Braves beat the host Rochester Red Wings 3-2.

Albies is hitting .291 this season.

His nine steals are just two less than the Atlanta Braves have as a team. Brandon Phillips leads Atlanta with five stolen bases.

Veteran first baseman Ryan Howard, shooting for a call-up to the major-league Braves, went 0-for-4 with a strikeout but is hitting .300 after three games with Gwinnett.

The Braves are 12-6 in International League play.
