1. The Braves gave up five stolen bases against the Cardinals in six attempts. Blake Lalli was the Braves' catcher.

2. Nick Swisher, trying to keep a roster spot, went 0-for-2 and his average dropped to .133.

3. Kyle Kendrick, trying to earn a spot in the rotation, allowed nine hits and seven earned runs in 1 2/3 innings against the Phillies. His ERA is 22.09.

4. Reid Brignac is tied for the team lead with 4 RBIs and is hitting .417.

5. Pitcher Alexi Ogando struck out three Phillies in one inning.

6. Infielder Gordon Beckham went 0-for-2 and is batting .182.

7. Jace Peterson played third base against the Cardinals and had a hit, but that only brought his average up to .118.

8. The Braves are 3-8.
