April 14 will be remembered as the beginning of a new chapter for the Atlanta Braves franchise, but it’s also a big day for two great players from the past.

Braves Hall of Famers David Justice and Greg Maddux will celebrate their 51st birthdays Friday, the same day the Braves will play their first game at the new SunTrust Park in Cobb County. Justice was born April 14, 1966 in Cincinnati and Maddux was born the same day in San Angelo, Tx.

Both are members of the Braves Hall of Fame and were members of the franchise's 1995 World Series championship team. Maddux was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014.

Here's a look back at photo galleries of Justice and Maddux when they turned 50 last year.

April 14 is also the birthday of former Braves lefthander Steve Avery, who will turn 47.
