How the game was won: Kelly Johnson hit a two-run homer in the first inning and the Braves added two in the second to build a 4-1 lead before cruising to a 5-3 win against the Brewers in a series opener at Miller Park, snapping Milwaukee's eight-game winning streak. Matt Wisler (3-1) won against in his fourth major league start, allowing three runs and seven hits in 5 2/3 innings, with one walk and six strikeouts. A.J. Pierzynski had two doubles in the second four-hit game of the season for the 38-year-old catcher.

What's next: The Braves and Brewers play the middle game of a three-game series at 8:10 p.m., when rookie Manny Banuelos (0-0, 0.00 ERA) makes his second major league start against Tyler Cravy (0-1, 2.00), also making his second major league start.
