Former Braves center fielder Cameron Maybin, now with the Detroit Tigers, is expected to miss four to six weeks after suffering a broken left wrist in a spring training game.

Maybin was hit by a pitch Wednesday.

Maybin, 28, hit .267 with 10 home runs, 59 RBIs and 23 stolen bases in 141 games with the Braves last season. The Braves dealt him to the Tigers in the offseason for pitchers Ian Krol and Gabe Speier.
