Former Atlanta Brave Tim Hudson pitched three hitless innings Saturday for the Kansas Stars in the National Baseball Congress World Series in Wichita, Kan.

Hudson, who pitched for the Braves from 2005-13 and retired in 2015 after 17 major-league seasons, got the start for the Stars, a group of retired professional players. Former Braves Dan Uggla and J.D. Drew each had two hits as the Stars defeated the Sterling (Colo.) Xpress 8-0.
