Braves shortstop prospect Ozzie Albies extended his hit streak to five games Monday night, when he was 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in a 6-5 victory against Pawtucket.

In the five games, Albies is 7-for-23 (.304) to raise his average while at Triple-A Gwinnett to .237, up from .220 when the streak began. In the streak, Albies has two RBIs and two doubles, but he has struck out six times and has no walks.

Overall at Gwinnett, Albies is struggling a bit to find sure footing.

He has struck out 24 times and walked four in 29 games. He has a .269 on-base percentage and a .637 OPS. He also has committed 11 errors in 232 innings, a rate of one per 21.1 innings. His Triple-A field percentage is only .923.
