Braves prospect Ronald Acuna produced two hits Tuesday afternoon for the Gwinnett Stripers, ending a skid that saw him go 0-for-11 in his first three games.

Acuna produced a double and a single while driving in a run. He did, however, strike out for the fifth time this season.

The Stripers defeated Durham 5-4 on the road to even their season record at 2-2.

Rio Ruiz was 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs. He hit a two-run home run with two outs in the eighth inning. Johan Camargo hit a homer in the sixth as he made a rehab start for the Stripers.

Gwinnett’s Kolby Allard made his Triple-A debut and pitched four innings, allowing three earned runs on four hits. He struck out three and walked one.

The Stripers will face Durham again Wednesday before taking on Rochester at Coolray Field on Thursday night in their home opener.
