FIFA will announce how many and which level of matches the city and Mercedes-Benz Stadium will host for the 2026 World Cup tournament on Sunday.

Next to hosting the Olympics in 1996, hosting World Cup matches arguably will be the second-most important sporting event(s) to be held in the city.
