Atlanta United’s starting 11 for Sunday’s MLS playoff game against New York Red Bulls at Mercedes-Benz Stadium:
Goalkeeper Brad Guzan, who will make his 36th start.
Centerback Jeff Larentowicz, who will make his 372nd start in MLS and one of 2 players on the roster who have won an MLS Cup.
Centerback Michael Parkhurst, the team’s captain.
Centerback Leandro Gonzalez Pirez, who will make his 35th start.
Right wingback Franco Escobar, who will make his 23rd start.
Left wingback Greg Garza, who will make his 13th start.
Defensive midfielder Eric Remedi, who will make his 15th start. He will be charged with denying service to Bradley Wright-Phillips.
Midfielder Darlington Nagbe, who will make his 26th start. If the Red Bulls press, and it’s expected they will, he will be responsible for flipping the field or dribbling out of the pressure.
Midfielder Julian Gressel, who will make his 36th start. He will work with Nagbe to relieve pressure on the defense.
Striker Miguel Almiron, who had 12 goals and 14 assists in the regular season and one more goal in the playoffs. If Atlanta United can break Red Bulls’ press, Almiron could have a field day in what may be his last game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Striker Josef Martinez, who had a league record 31 goals during the regular season and two more in the playoffs.
