Atlanta United signs draft pick

Atlanta United announced the signing of third-round draft pick Andrew Wheeler-Omiunu on Friday.

Wheeler-Omiunu is a midfielder who played at Harvard. He made 64 appearances for the Crimson with four goals and six assists. He can also play fullback. Terms weren’t disclosed.

Atlanta United, with Wheeler-Omiunu, will play its first preseason game on Saturday at Chattanooga.
