With an announced attendance of 67,502 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta United hosting Chicago on Saturday in MLS outdrew the Champions League final played on the same day in Madrid, Spain.

The game between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, won 2-0 by Liverpool, had an announced attendance of 63,272 at the Metropolitano Stadium, which has a capacity smaller than that of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Atlanta United leads MLS in average attendance this season and led the league in each of the past two seasons. It holds numerous league attendance records and surpassed 2 million tickets sold and distributed through 38 games at Mercedes-Benz Stadium when it hosted Minnesota on Wednesday.
