My choice for Atlanta United's man of the match following Sunday's 2-2 draw with NYCFC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium:

BRAD GUZAN

Goalkeeper

Why? He made three saves, including two difficult stops in the first half. On the first, using both hands he punched a hard shot over the crossbar. Later, he dove to his left and tipped away a shot that was arrowing for the lower right corner.

Then he got a hand on David Villa’s penalty, and may have gotten a finger on Alexander Ring’s thunderbolt that tied the game at 2, speaks to his positioning and skill.
