Atlanta United donated almost $3,000 to help cover the funeral costs for an Orlando City Soccer Club supporter who recently was killed in a car crash, according to a GoFundMe page devoted to helping the family.

Atlanta United declined to comment.

Miguel Vazques, a capo for Orlando City, died in a car crash at the age of 25 on March 26. A GoFundMe page with a cap of $20,000 was set up later that day as a memorial fund to help cover the costs of the funeral as well as support Vazques’ mother, whom he was taking care of. Atlanta United donated $2,962 on Monday. That donation helped the fund reach $20,000. It currently is at $20,265.

Orlando City honored the victims of the Stoneman Douglas tragedy, as well as Vazques, at last week’s game against New York Red Bulls.
