Atlanta United’s George Campbell was added Wednesday to the roster for the MLS Homegrown game to be played in Orlando on July 30.

Campbell, 18, is a centerback who signed with the club as a Homegrown two weeks ago. His contract will go into effect in 2020. He is the club’s sixth Homegrown. He has made 13 appearances with Atlanta United 2 in the USL this season.

The MLS Homegrowns will take on Chivas’ U-20 team at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Campbell is the third Atlanta United player to participate in the MLS Homegrown Game, joining Andrew Carleton and Chris Goslin in 2017 in Chicago, and Carleton and Lagos Kunga last year in Marietta.
