Atlanta United fullback George Bello, fresh off scoring his first goal in last week’s win against New England, was called up on Tuesday to the U17 U.S. men’s team for an upcoming tournament in England.
Bello, a 16-year-old resident of Douglasville, will be a part of a team that includes Atlanta United academy player Will Reilly that will face England on Friday, Brazil on Sunday and Russia on next Tuesday in England.
Atlanta United’s next game will be Oct. 21 vs. Chicago.
