Atlanta United acquired goalkeeper Kyle Reynish in a trade with the New York Red Bulls.

Reynish has been training with Atlanta United, but the Red Bulls hold his rights.

Atlanta United sent New York its fourth-round pick in the 2018 SuperDraft for his rights.

Atlanta United’s goalkeepers include Decatur’s Alec Kann, Alex Tambakis and Reynish.

Reynish, 33, is an MLS veteran with appearances for Real Salt Lake and Chicago. He has also played for the Charleston Battery and New York Cosmos.

Atlanta United will open its season Sunday hosting the Red Bulls at Georgia Tech’s Bobby Dodd Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
