Atlanta United released its preseason schedule Wednesday, and it’s packed with exhibition games.

The team will open Monday in Marietta, where it will train until it moves camp Jan. 20 to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.

While there, it will play the New York Red Bulls on Jan. 24, Philadelphia on Jan. 29 and IF Elfsborg of Sweden on Feb. 1 in exhibitions. The sessions aren’t open to the public.

The team will return to Atlanta before facing Birmingham in Alabama on Feb. 8. That match, which starts at 4:30 p.m., is open to the public. Tickets are on sale.

The team will depart for Mexico, where it will start training Feb. 10 in Guadalajara as part of its preparations for the Champions League. It will return to Atlanta on Feb. 13.

The team’s first game in the Champions League is Feb. 18 against Motagua in Honduras. The return leg will be Feb. 25 at Kennesaw State’s Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
