The Hawks have been banged up this preseason, but things may be finally trending in the right direction.

Trae Young, who suffered a right quad contusion in the first exhibition game vs. Miami and has been out since, was able to participate in practice Monday. De’Andre Hunter, who experienced some knee soreness after playing in the second exhibition game and sat out Saturday’s game, also participated in practice Monday, per Hawks coach Nate McMillan.

Clint Capela got his first live work of the preseason in, another good sign.

Delon Wright, who tweaked his right ankle Wednesday, did not participate in practice, nor did Onyeka Okongwu, who likely won’t be available until January.
