The NBA tapped Hawks guard Trae Young, along with six other stars from the league, for a campaign to promote its new In-Season Tournament.

To help get fans excited for the tournament, Young stars alongside Bulls forward DeMar DeRozan. Others in the campaign include Lakers center Anthony Davis, Cavaliers guard Darius Garland, Warriors forward Draymond Green, Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard and Knicks forward Julius Randle.

The seven players look to execute an Ocean’s Eleven-style heist as they attempt to execute an elaborate scheme to steal the new NBA Cup. Actor Michael Imperioli, of The Sopranos, narrates the players’ hijinks as they look to steal the top prize.

Young makes his appearance 40 seconds into the campaign as DeRozan enters the elevator where he is waiting. Imperioli details what every heist needs, and the Emmy award winner pays homage to Young’s nickname “Ice Trae,” remarking that every crew needs “a guy with ice water in his veins.”

The Hawks guard then eyes the elevator buttons and acknowledges the NBA Cup located on the top floor.

He then looks at DeRozan, and the two tussle as the Bulls forward tries to punch the button. Young stops him with a round-house kick that pushes the emergency stop button to halt the elevator.

Imperioli then cycles through the rest of the players starring in the campaign. He wraps up his narration.

“Everyone’s got their eyes on this new prize, but the only way to get the NBA Cup is to win it. Looks like you’re all going to have to play for it.”
