Hawks guard Trae Young was fined $15,000 by the NBA for making contact with a game official, the league announced Friday night.

The fine stems from an incident Thursday in the second quarter of the Hawks’ 122-111 loss on the road against the Washington Wizards.

Young went out of bounds behind the Wizards’ basket while shooting. As he ran back onto the court, he bumped an official. Young was assessed a technical foul on the play.
