With about four minutes to play in the first quarter of the Hawks-Nets game Wednesday night in Brooklyn, Danilo Gallinari seemed to come down awkwardly on his ankle.

He exited the game and was later diagnosed with a right ankle sprain, and will not return to the game.

Gallinari had five points in 3:09 in the game before departing. He had missed the past two games with a left foot contusion before being cleared to play Wednesday.
