The Falcon’s secondary and the special teams units took a couple of hits in the 34-30 loss to the Washington Football Team on Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Cornerback Isaiah Oliver (knee), safety Erik Harris (calf) and punter Cam Nizialek (right hamstring/punting leg) left the game and did not return. They would likely be questionable at best to make the trip to the London to face the N.Y. Jets.

Oliver was replaced at nickel back rookie Avery Williams and Jaylinn Hawkins, who’d been in the safety rotation at strong safety, took over Harris’ snaps. Also, kicker Younghoe Koo took over the punting chores.

The Falcons have punter Dustin Colquitt on the practice squad and could bring him up.

In the secondary, the Falcons have been using safety Richie Grant (second round pick) on special teams and not on defense and cornerback Darren Hall (fourth round pick) was inactive. With the injuries, the coaching staff must get Grant and Hall ready to contribute.
