Falcons add cornerback to practice squad

FLOWERY BRANCH -- Cornerback Lafayette Pitts, who hasn’t played in an NFL game since 2018, was signed to the Falcons’ practice squad Wednesday.

Pitts, 29, is 5-foot-11 and 196 pounds. He played collegiately at Pittsburgh and was signed by the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent following the 2016 draft.

He has spent time with the Dolphins, Bills, Jaguars, Colts and Steelers and has played in 40 NFL games.
