FLOWERY BRANCH — Things were a bit more lively during the Falcons’ second padded practice of training camp Tuesday.

Here are five things we learned:

1. Bryan Edwards back: Wide receiver Bryan Edwards, who fell on his shoulder Saturday and missed Monday’s practice, was back. He wore a yellow jersey.

1A. Kicking game: Kicker Younghoe Koo was money, making all six field-goal tries.

He made them from 38 yards (middle), 43 (left hash), 48 (middle), 35 (middle), 42 (right hash) and 50 (left hash).

2. Outside LB rotation: Early in practice, Ade Ogundeji lined up at left outside linebacker and Lorenzo Carter at right. Arnold Ebiketie went in for Ogundeji, and Quinton Bell replaced Carter.

3. One-on-one blocking: The Falcons had two periods of one-on-one blocking. In the first one, right tackle Germain Ifedi got the best of Ebiketie. Nose tackle Timothy Horne had a stalemate with guard Colby Gossett. Nose guard Nick Thurman overpowered center Ryan Neuzil.

Left guard Jalen Mayfield, who’s in a battle to retain his starting position, was beaten badly by Marlon Davidson and later struggled against Thurman.

Center Matt Hennessy, who’s in a battle to keep his starting spot, stoned defensive tackle Jalen Dalton. One of the younger assistants got all fired up for Hennessy and jumped into his chest as he walked off.

The battles were spirited in both sessions.

4. Stanley Berryhill with big play: In a battle of undrafted players, wide receiver Stanley Berryhill (Arizona) made a nice move to get open, ran smoothly and made a nice catch with cornerback Matt Hankins (Iowa) giving chase.

The offensive players, led by Kyle Pitts, went wild and raced down the field to celebrate with Berryhill.

5. Casey Hayward with the pick: Near the end of practice, cornerback Casey Hayward came up with an interception.
