Falcons-Packers: First quarter recap

Two Matt Ryan passes to Julio Jones – one for 19 yards, the second for 34 yards – put the Falcons deep in Packers territory in Sunday’s home opener at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Then, Devonta Freeman scored on a one-yard run putting the Falcons up 7-0 early in the opening quarter.

In the next six minutes, Green Bay answered. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers got his team to the end zone in 11 plays.
