Atlanta Dream to play LA Sparks on Saturday

The Atlanta Dream will play the Los Angeles Sparks on Saturday at Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion.

The Dream (2-1) is coming off a 75-71 loss last Saturday to the the reigning WNBA Champions, the Chicago Sky. For her 17-point performance against the Sky, guard Layshia Clarendon earned WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week honors.

Former Lady Vol and current Dream guard Meighan Simmons sent a message to all Tennessee basketball fans to come out and support the Dream on Saturday. Former Tennessee coach Pat Summitt called Simmons one of the fastest players she ever coached.

Clarendon, Simmons and the rest of the Dream will take on the Sky at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
