As Carli Lloyd and Heather Mitts rejoin the Atlanta Beat for their match Saturday night, the Beat will welcome some other World Cup players to KSU Soccer Stadium in Kennesaw.

The magicJack’s Abby Wambach, Hope Solo, and Megan Rapinoe will be on hand for a “Welcome Back World Cup Heroes” celebration hosted by the Beat before the two teams face off at 7 p.m.

On Wednesday night, Wambach was honored during halftime of the magicJack’s match against the Western New York Flash. She didn’t play because of tendinitis and fatigue, but still spoke during halftime to a crowd of 15,404 (a Women’s Professional Soccer record) in Rochester, N.Y.

However, all three magicJack players are expected to be in attendance Saturday night.
