The Atlanta 400 Baseball Fan Club will host its 53rd annual Gameboree winter banquet and fundraiser on Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Atlanta Marriott Northwest at Galleria Hotel. The theme is “All-Stars and Gold Gloves.” A gala reception, silent auction, and raffle of Braves memorabilia begins at 5 p.m., with the awards dinner and program following at 6:30 p.m.

Awards for outstanding performances by Braves minor leaguers in 2018 will be presented to Austin Riley and Touki Toussaint. Manager Brian Snitker and Hall of Famer Phil Niekro will attend.

The Luke Appling Nostalgia Award and the Ivan Allen, Jr. “Mr. Baseball” Award recipients will be announced at the banquet. Phil Niekro College Scholarships will be awarded to Georgia Gwinnett College and Middle Georgia State University.

The 2018 Metro Atlanta High School Player of the Year will be awarded to Will Banfield from Brookwood High School. Joey Bart from Georgia Tech will receive the Jason Varitek Most Outstanding Scholar Athlete in Georgia Award.
