AJC Peachtree Road Race number transfer system open

Registrants who are unable to participate in this year's 2013 AJC Peachtree Road Race can now officially transfer a race number to another runner.

The transfer system has a $20 fee and is open until Friday, May 31.

Runners passing on numbers must know the name and e-mail address of the person receiving the number in order to complete the process.

Anyone wishing to offer a number can contact potential runners on the Atlanta Track Club message board.

All numbers received through the transfer process must be picked up at the AJC Peachtree Road Race Expo.

Construction on the project, which is estimated to cost $15 million to $16 million, is scheduled to be complete by fall 2026.
