The top recruits appeared to be following the National Signing Day script early Wednesday, turning verbal commitments into signed letters of intent without any surprises.
Then KJ Bolden of Buford took center stage, and the 2023 AJC Super 11 player turned the day on its heels with the flip heard ‘round the recruiting world.
A long-time pledge to Florida State, the defensive back regarded by many as the best in the nation changed his mind and signed with the Georgia Bulldogs. Bolden was only the second 2023 Super 11 player signed by Georgia, but he was by far the biggest.
