Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers sent a message to fans on Instagram after undergoing shoulder surgery on Thursday.

"Surgery went well. Thanks for all the love, support, thoughts and prayers. #comebackstartsnow #riseagain," Rodgers wrote.

Rodgers broke his right clavicle in Sunday's loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Four years ago, Rodgers broke his left clavicle and missed seven games, but did not have surgery during the season.

Packers back-up Brett Hundley will make his first NFL start for the Packers on Sunday against the Saints at Lambeau Field.
